Mr. Raghunath Mittal
Chairman
A growth-oriented visionary, Raghunath Mittal is the core promoter and founder of JCL. He has been responsible for operations right from JCL’s inception. He has close to 30 years of experience across various facets of the business. He started his career in 1980 with Akash Coke Industries Private Limited, where he also served a Director.
In 1993 he moved to Bhilwara to harness the potential he had seen in the textile industry. His vision and strong work ethic helped birth the steel division at JCL. His measured risk-taking drive and incredible focus on growth, coupled with strong business judgement has enabled JCL to reach a dominant position amongst its peers. His path to progress has always hinged on his philosophy of staying cost-effective through efficient integrations while focussing on process innovations as well.
Mr. Rahul Mittal
Managing Director
Mr. Rahul Mittal was appointed as full time Director in 2012. He is an individual promoter at JCL. An alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi, he also earned his Master’s in Management from The University of Nottingham. Rahul looks after the activities of our Iron & Steel Division. He is also a governing council member of the prestigious Sponge Iron Manufacturers’ Association (SIMA).
Mr. Rohit Mittal
Mr. Rohit Mittal joined JCL after completing his Master’s in Finance & Investment from the University of Nottingham. He also attended Christ College, Bangalore, where he earned his Bachelor’s in Business Management. He currently looks after operations and expansion of the company’s steel division.
Mr. G. Narahari Reddy
General Manager & Business Head, Iron and Steel Division
Mr. G. Narahari Reddy has a B. Tech in Metallurgy Engineering from the Regional Engineering College, Warrangal. He has more than 25 years in the field of operations and administration. He was a member of the Expert Committee, set up by the Ministry of External Affairs to explore possibilities of setting up sponge iron plants in seven frontline African nations.
Mr. Prasad Chakkirala
Chief Operating Officer – Iron & Steel Division
Mr. Prasad Chakkirala is a Metallurgical Engineer from Andhra University with over 23 years of experience in the iron and steel industry, spanning operations, technology, engineering, and process optimisation. He has worked with leading organisations including AM/NS India, Jindal Steel Oman, and Vale, where he gained more than 12 years of international exposure with the world’s largest iron ore and pellet producer. He brings extensive expertise in iron ore beneficiation, pelletizing technologies, and Midrex DRI technology.
Mr. Varun K. Agarwal
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Varun K. Agarwal is a Chartered Accountant with an M.Com (H) and has over 17 years of finance leadership experience across the Steel, Cement, and FMCG sectors. As Chief Financial Officer of Janki Corp Limited (JCL), he oversees the finance function of the integrated steel manufacturer, with business lines spanning Sponge Iron, Pellet, Captive Power, Ferro Alloys, and Textiles. Prior to joining JCL, he held senior finance positions at UltraTech Cement, Hindustan Coca‑Cola Beverages, and Jindal Steel & Power. He is also a certified member of the MCA Independent Directors’ Databank.
Mr. Prakash Musaddi
Advisor
Mr. Prakash Musaddi is a Commerce Graduate from the Ramdas College, Delhi University. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since Nov 2001. He joined JCL in 2004 as Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee several critical functions including accounting, financing and taxation. Through hard-work and sheer proficiency he rose quickly up the ladder and today still serves as an Advisor to JCL.
